Hao Datong (Taoist name Guaningzi) is a member of the Seven Immortals of Quanzhen and a senior member of the Quanzhen Sect. He was also an apprentice of Wang Chonyang.
Fight with Huang Yaoshi[]
After the Quanzhen Seven though Guo Jing and Zhou Botong was killed by Huang Yaoshi, they fought Huang Yaoshi and Mei Chaofeng. However, in the process, Tan Chudan was killed by Ouyang Feng but this crime was framed on Huang Yaoshi, resulting in a misunderstanding. He and other Quanzhen members fought against Huang Yaoshi again later but stopped when the truth was exposed and Ouyang Feng arrived.
