18 Dragon Subduing Palms (降龙十八掌) is a hand-to-hand combat technique in novels by Jin Yong. It is also known to be the most powerful 'external' martial art in Jin Yong's novel universe. According to Huang Yaoshi, in-law of Guo Jing, 18 Dragon Subduing Palms was unrivaled before Yang Guo created his 'Melancholic Palms' technique.
